ICONSIAM is the riverside megamall that opened in 2018 on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya, and the name now covers the Bangkok neighbourhood that has grown up around it. Luxury condos line the water, making it a fit for couples, families and anyone who wants views and a slower pace than the central business districts.

Getting around ICONSIAM
The Gold Line monorail stops at Charoen Nakhon, about 100 m from the mall. Khlong San is 550 m away at one end of the short line, and Krung Thon Buri, 850 m away at the other, is where it connects to the BTS Silom Line. BTS Saphan Taksin is roughly 900 m away across the river. Many residents skip the trains and use the shuttle boats between the ICONSIAM pier and Sathorn Pier at Saphan Taksin, which also links to the Chao Phraya Express Boat.
