Siam Paragon is the flagship Bangkok luxury mall — a vertical anchor of the Siam Square retail spine, connected by skywalk to BTS Siam (exit 3, 5) and to Siam Center, Siam Discovery, and CentralWorld a few blocks east. It opened in 2005 and remains one of the city's busiest shopping centres.
The basement holds Gourmet Market, a high-end supermarket that's worth a visit on its own merits — imported groceries, a sushi counter, a wine cellar, and the usual Thai grocery selection at slightly elevated prices. The ground floor is the luxury fashion strip (Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton); upper floors mix mid-range fashion, electronics (Apple Store), and a multiplex cinema. SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World occupies the basement next to Gourmet Market.
The food court on the 4th floor is one of the best AC food halls in central Bangkok — covers most of the regional Thai cuisines plus Japanese, Korean, and the usual mall fast-casual mix. Open daily 10am to 10pm. The forecourt fountain plays a synchronised water show in the evenings; ICONSIAM does a more elaborate version, but Paragon's runs nightly without a boat ride to get there.
